I. Overview
The Rake dryer is a horizontal, batch-type conductive drying equipment widely used in industries such as chemical processing and food production. It primarily heats materials through a horizontally mounted cylindrical shell with a jacket, where a heat transfer medium (such as steam or thermal oil) circulates within the jacket, transferring heat through the wall to the material. The core feature of this equipment is its internal rake agitator, which can rotate forward and backward. As the rake teeth slowly rotate, they continuously flip and push the material, ensuring constant contact between the material and the heated surface and promoting surface renewal, thereby guaranteeing uniform heating.
