The working principle is based on a combination of vertical multi-layer disc conductive heating and mechanical raking. The main unit consists of a closed vertical cylinder containing multiple horizontal hollow heating discs stacked inside, through which steam, hot water, or thermal oil can be circulated. Wet material is continuously fed into the top inlet and falls onto the uppermost heating disc. Rotating rake arms equipped with rake blades continuously turn and stir the material, ensuring even distribution across the disc surface and full contact with the heated surface. The material is gradually pushed by the rake blades toward discharge holes at the outer or inner edge of each disc layer, then falls by gravity onto the next lower disc. This process repeats as the material moves downward, allowing moisture to evaporate progressively. The dried product is discharged from the bottom outlet. Moisture-laden vapor is extracted via exhaust ports at the top and can be connected to dust collection and condensation recovery systems.
