The hot air circulation oven is an intermittent drying device that achieves uniform material drying through forced hot air circulation. When powered on, the heater warms the air inside the chamber. Driven by a fan, the heated air continuously circulates through ducts within the chamber. The hot air passes through trays holding the materials, making full contact with them and transferring heat via conduction and convection, causing internal moisture in the materials to vaporize.
The generated water vapor travels with the hot air and is periodically expelled from the chamber through exhaust vents, reducing humidity inside and accelerating the drying process. Repeated circulation of hot air ensures uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber, minimizing temperature variations. The equipment allows users to set desired drying temperatures and durations, while the temperature control system maintains a constant internal temperature.
Simple to operate, this device is suitable for drying, curing, and heat treatment of granular, powdered, and bulk materials, and is widely used in industries such as food processing, and chemical manufacturing. As a static drying method, it offers relatively gentle drying rates, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials.
