Its working principle is based on container rotation and material gravity diffusion. The main body of the equipment consists of two cylinders welded in a V-shape, with feed and discharge openings at each end. During operation, the V-shaped cylinder rotates around a horizontal central axis driven by a motor. The material inside the cylinder is lifted along the inner wall to a certain height and then naturally slides down due to gravity. This continuous movement creates intense convection, shearing, and diffusion effects at the intersection of the V-shape, enabling rapid and uniform distribution of the material both macroscopically and microscopically within a short period. The mixing time typically ranges from 4 to 8 minutes. 

The equipment features a simple structure with smooth internal surfaces and no dead corners, making it easy to clean and compliant with GMP clean production requirements. The mixing process is gentle, minimizing the risk of damaging material crystal structures or causing overheating, while the sealed operation effectively prevents dust leakage. It can be equipped with variable frequency speed control, a timer controller, and a vacuum feeding system to meet diverse process needs. The mixing uniformity can exceed 99%, although the loading factor is relatively low (typically 30%–50% of the volume), and it is not suitable for highly viscous or excessively moist materials. 

Overall, the V-type mixer operates smoothly and is easy to maintain, making it an ideal choice for small to medium batch dry mixing, particularly excelling in pharmaceutical pre-granulation mixing and food seasoning blending.
