I. Project Overview  
This system is designed to treat waste slag with a moisture content of approximately 70–80% in Zibo, Shandong, reducing its moisture level to 40–50%. This significantly reduces the volume of waste requiring external disposal and lowers associated outsourcing costs. The primary objective is to decrease the moisture content of the waste slag, thereby minimizing the amount needing off-site treatment and ultimately reducing disposal expenses for enterprises while improving economic efficiency.

II. Equipment Overview  
The system comprises waste slag drying facilities along with related waste reception, conveying, exhaust gas treatment, and control systems. The main process flow includes: wet slag silo → screw conveyor → hollow double-spiral blade dryer → dry slag conveyance → exhaust gas treatment. The system has a daily processing capacity of 2 tons and uses low-pressure saturated steam as the heat source. During shutdown, the equipment features self-cleaning mechanisms and insulation measures. Insulation consists of an 80 mm layer of rock wool and aluminum silicate, wrapped with carbon steel plates.

III. Equipment Features

- High thermal energy utilization and low energy consumption; loading capacity reaches 70–80% of the drum volume. Due to indirect heating, minimal heat loss occurs from air carryover, and the dryer’s outer wall is insulated—only 1.2 kg of steam is required to evaporate 1 kg of water.  
- Wedge-shaped blades possess self-cleaning capability, enhancing heat transfer efficiency.  
- Wide material compatibility; adaptable to various heat media, enabling processing of both heat-sensitive and high-temperature materials. Common media include steam, thermal oil, hot water, and cooling water. Suitable for both continuous and batch operations, making it applicable across many industries.  
- Stable operation and uniform product drying. The unique expansion and mixing action of wedge-shaped blades ensures thorough contact between material and heat transfer surfaces, resulting in minimal temperature, humidity, and mixing gradients along the axial direction, thus ensuring process stability.  
- Low operating cost; normal operation requires only one operator, thanks to low-speed stirring and optimized design. Minimal wear leads to very low maintenance costs.
